About Me

From a young age, I had a deep curiosity about people's stories and a desire to empower others, showing them that their upbringing doesn't have to define their future. Growing up in the Bronx as an Afro Latina, first-generation Dominican American, I appreciate both the beauty and struggles of our experiences. I understand the potential for generational healing and am honored to serve my community.
For the past 14 years, I've had the privilege of supporting people through various emotions and stages of their lives. I’ve learned that while we are shaped by our environment and early messages, we have the power to change our narratives and create healthier patterns. This was particularly evident in my work with juvenile justice-involved teens and their families, where many, despite facing significant challenges, worked hard to overcome entrenched generational patterns. These experiences reinforced my belief in human resilience and the potential for change. When people are met with empathy and provided a safe space to unpack their past, they can unlearn unhealthy narratives and adopt new, adaptive approaches to life.
Some Fun Facts!
My loved ones know me as a foodie (particularly shrimp in any fashion) who knows how to have a good laugh. They describe me as genuine, someone who meets people where they are, and can be counted on to tell you the truth in love, even when it hurts.
